Am I eligible to vote in Oklahoma?
You are eligible to vote in Oklahoma if you are:
A citizen of the United States of America
A resident of the state of Oklahoma
At least 18 years of age
You cannot vote in Oklahoma if you:
Are a convicted felon who has not served their full sentence, e.g., incarceration, parole, probation, etc.
Have been judged by a court to be incapacitated
How do I register to vote in Oklahoma?
In-person: Several governmental and public agencies have voter registration applications. If you fill out a voter registration application at one of these locations, they will submit the application to the local County Election Board on your behalf. By Mail: If you prefer to register to vote by mail, you can download a voter registration application online, fill it out, and then mail it to your local County Election Board. According to the Oklahoma government, you will need to add a first-class postage stamp to the envelope if you do choose to register by mail.
Once your application has been reviewed and approved by the County Board of Elections, they will mail you a voter identification card.

How do I request an absentee ballot in Oklahoma?
The Oklahoma government allows for no-excuse absentee voting, so you can vote via an absentee ballot as long as you are registered to vote. You can either apply for an absentee ballot online via the OK Voter Portal, or you can download an absentee ballot request form online.
Once you have filled out the absentee ballot request form, you can submit it to your local County Election Board by mail, e-mail, fax, or in person. All absentee ballot requests must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on the Wednesday before the election in which you want to vote.
What do I need to bring to the polls in Oklahoma?
If you choose to vote in-person at your local polling place, you will be required to provide some form of personal identification. According to Oklahoma law, personal ID must have been issued by the U.S. government, the Oklahoma government, or a federally-recognized tribal government. Proper IDs must show:
Your name
A photo of your face
An expiration date (unless the document never expires)
You can also use your voter identification card as proof of identity. If you do not have any of these documents, you can sign an affidavit stating you are who you claim to be. You will then be able to vote on a provisional ballot which will be held until your identity is verified.
What special accommodations are available?
Disabled voters have additional voting options in Oklahoma. If you need assistance to cast your ballot, you can request assistance from a trained Precinct Official, or you can choose someone you know help you, as long as that person is not your employer, an agent of your employer, or an agent of your union.
You can also use a specialized voting machine equipped with an audio tactile interface (ATI). Additionally, if you are unable to physically access a polling place, you can request assistance from Precinct Officials to vote outside of the polling place. If you do not prefer any of these options, you can vote via absentee ballot.
