AAPD Announces REV UP Training & Webinar (May 24th, 3 pm ET)
The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) is holding a training and webinar as part of its REV UP Campaign (Register Eeducate Vote and Use your Power). This webinar will focus on educating people about how to set up their own voter registration drives either in person or on-line so that more people with disability can have their voices heard at the ballot box. Kentucky CCDD, P&A, Independence Place, and The Center for Accessible Living Collaborate on Voter Registration & Turnout with AAPD REV UP Program
Beginning with National Disability Voter Registration Week (July 11 – 15), these organizations all committed to work with AAPD’s REV UP Program (Register, Educate, Vote, Use you Power) to empower the disability community in Kentucky to unite, activate and raise their voices through voting. Disability Rights Maryland is hosting its second voter forum for the disability forum. The event will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at The League For People With Disabilities, 1111 E.
